Homey Setup

Follow the steps below to configure your SmartHome Wall Tablet for use with Homey.

PanelControl Required

For Homey installations, the PanelControl App must be installed first. This app is used to manage the tablet’s screen, backlight and relays before completing the Homey-side setup.

Setup Steps

Download and Install PanelControl

Download the PanelControl App to the wall tablet, then follow the installation instructions to complete setup.

Once PanelControl has been installed and configured, continue with the next step below.

Install the Homey App

Install the Homey app on the wall tablet. You can do this using either the Google Play Store or Apkpure.

Apkpure is an alternative app store that does not require an account or a Google account in order to install Android apps.

Add SmartHome and Wall Tablet in Homey

In the Homey app, select Add, then New Device. Enter/search for SmartHome, select it, then select Wall Tablet from the available devices.

Enter the Wall Tablet IP Address

Enter the IP address of the Wall Tablet to complete the setup. This can be found in the PanelControl app.
